WCHM-Office Building at 10183 – 152A Street, Surrey,BC.

Avion-Multiplex Construction Inc was the Construction Manager for the construction of the Office Building in Surrey, BC.  The construction of the Office Building is complete. Office Building is comprised of 24,000 square feet over 3 floors . The building includes an attractive facade of curtain wall, aluminum and smooth finish of hardie panels, and green spaces with a 3 levels underground and grade level parking. The Office Building is designed to incorporate the Geothermal System to assist in heating and cooling of the building.

Ladne Village Inn,Renovation

This is a design-build  renovation project of 18000 sq.ft of  existing restaurant on the main floor and conversion of  residential suites into offices on the second floor.  The new restaurant and a  retail store on the main floor and new offices  on the second floor have been designed to incorporate the requirements of Corporation of Delta and seismic upgrade.

The project involved major renovation to the existing Ladner Village Inn building including demolition of the existing  and construction of new structures. The demolition work involves removal of asbestos flooring, drywall ,existing build up roof,  exterior and interior walls , existing concrete foundations and electrical and mechanical systems. The new construction involves construction of 16000 sq.ft of new restaurant, 2000sq.ft of new retail space and 12000 sq.ft of new offices on the second floor. The new exterior of the building will reflect the latest architectural trends.

This 4500 sq. ft. renovation/expansion of the entire existing bank was done in phases, during the evening hours.  This allowed the bank to keep operating during the renovation; which involved continual coordination between the bank, mall, sub-trades and suppliers. This steel stud / drywall / T-bar construction, included finishes such as ceramic tile, maple wood doors and trim, accent lighting and walls, and exterior composite metal panels.

This beautifully designed three storey commercial building with two levels of reinforced concrete underground parkade will be located on the corner of 143rd Street and 104th Ave. in Surrey, B.C.  Retail shopping on the main and second floors, with offices on the third level. It’s an open design with plenty of natural light from the numerous exterior windows.

This project was constructed on Main and 49th Street, Vancouver, British Columbia and consists of 10,000 square feet of combined residential and commercial space. The Project was constructed using reinforced concrete slab on grade, structural masonry support, suspended concrete slab with wood framing on second floor. The exterior was finished with a combination of aluminum metal panels, brick veneer, aluminum windows and an EPDM roof.

This design/build project was for a new 4000 square foot store in Cochrane Alberta. The exterior wall construction was steel studs, and supported a wood frame roof with asphalt shingles.

This project is was constructed in Airdrie, Alberta and consists of 40,000 square feet in three buildings of retail commercial space. It is was constructed of structural steel, steel stud framing, stucco and brick exterior with a combination of EPDM and standing seam metal roof systems.

The project was undertaken, in Calgary Alberta, after the installation of foundations. Due to the failure of previous workmanship, we were given the task of correcting and finishing the project. The project consisted of two buildings totaling 45,800 square feet. The ground floor is retail commercial with second floor offices. The buildings consisted of Structural Steel, Concrete Block, and Steel Stud exterior walls with Acrylic Stucco finish.
